Samsung Galaxy S6

But because Samsung did decide to dump replaceable batteries for the Galaxy S6, we can infer that the company knows such batteries weren’t massive sellers to begin with.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
Date: March 30, 2015
We know that the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge are not waterproof but can these devices withstand exposure to water for a certain amount of time? That’s what Keaton Keller from TechSmartt set out to find. He did a water test on the Galaxy S6 edge and found that the flagship can actually handle it better than what we would have expected from a device that’s not designed to be impervious to water.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
Date: March 29, 2015
Despite the rather hard throw, a quick test shows that the Galaxy S6 edge has survived. It is hard to tell from the video, but it appears that there is no damage to the phone whatsoever. As we get closer to the launch of the device on April 10th, we probably will see more elaborate drop tests and water tests. Remember, because of the new build the Samsung Galaxy S6 lost the IP67 certification that it had last year, meaning that the Galaxy S5 could survive being submerged in up to 3.3 feet of water and emerge unscathed. That is...

Samsung Galaxy S6
Date: March 28, 2015
Contrary to initial reports, both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are packed full of bloatware. In fact they have a record 56 apps pre-installed. This is six more than the Galaxy Note 4, which Samsung markets as the ultimate productivity smartphone. I know what you’re thinking: this doesn’t sound right. Samsung has made a lot of noise about how it has stripped back TouchWiz and produced the leanest, fastest software in its history. Obviously you must be able to uninstall most of this bloatware?

"I brought 2 sets of Kevo (one for front door & garage door). Much like other reviews I read afterwards I bit disappointed in $1.99 for eKeys after the first 2. Why do customers who purchased before 12/1/13 receive additional 5 eKeys? Another feature I was hoping Kevo would do aside from unlocking, but be able to lock remotely. Overall for an item that cost $200+ there should be more to the product."

"I loved it for the first few months: it really was a life changer! Then after wearing it constantly for 2.5 months it just suddenly died in the middle of a day. When I went to charge it, it wouldn't keep the charge (even if I left it on the charger overnight). It only works sometimes now and I am very upset with it. If I could return it and get a new one I would, but I don't want the same battery problems. "

"Very impressive. The new sleep tracking feature is enlightening as is the heart rate monitor also. The heart rate monitor does not require any additional contacts and it seems quite accurate. The percentage of remaining battery charge is much easier to read than on the previous model. The charging adapter is a lot nicer too. Samsung made a lot of improvements including the color display. "Love the phone. Simple, elegant and powerful. At half the price of an iPhone it's a great alternative and a good way of getting into our android without the bloat. No replaceable battery or memory add on makes for a compact phone. Try it still has a decent screen size and your virtually guaranteed the latest updates when they arrive. I picked up the international version and I'm using AT&T when in the US. I can only access 3G/HSPA but that's plenty quick for me and when I'm in Europe I get all the frequencies. Sweet handset, awesome price! ..."

"It works wonderfully still. I bought this tablet in August 2014 and currently in March of 2015 and it is still working great even though I never give it a rest between using it for school and rec. The battery life is noticeably less than when I first purchased it but when you factor in how much I over use it while it is on the charger so it is only expected to happen just as it happens with all chargeable devices. That is really the only thing though and I knew it would happen and I'm not holding it..."
